Hello Winecoff community! I am so excited to join the Leopard family. This is my 26^th year in education and 1^st year in Cabarrus County. The last 10 years have been as principal, 7 years in an elementary school and 3 in a middle school. Before that I taught 2nd, 3rd, 5^th and 6^th grades. I am the proud father of twin daughters, Natalie and Elizabeth, who are attending Jay M Robinson High School as seniors. I am committed to doing what's best for students and so excited about the opportunity here to grow Winecoff Elementary. I am looking forward to meeting each of you as we become Cabarrus County's best elementary school!

Hi, I am Lisa Hagen and I am so incredibly excited to be back at Winecoff for this coming school year! This will be my second year in Cabarrus County so many exciting things are happening in our building, and we have BIG plans for this year. I will be the kindergarten and first grade administrator again this year working closely with these teams. 

I am a graduate of the University at Buffalo with a BA in Communicative Disorders. I received a Graduate certificate from UNCC in Special Education and a Master's Degree in Educational Leadership from Wingate University. I began teaching in an Exceptional Children's classroom at the high school level, moving to the middle school level and elementary level as opportunities presented themselves. 

I live in Charlotte with my family, where we like to spend time outdoors and enjoying nature.

Ms. Green grew up in Columbia, South Carolina. She attended Columbia College where she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education and a masters in Divergent Learning. She attended the University of South Carolina where she earned her master's in Education Administration. Elizabeth began her educational career as an elementary classroom teacher and was named Teacher of the Year for her school in 2015. She also worked as an instructional coach before entering into her current role as Assistant Principal. Ms. Green’s favorite part of being an administrator is the relationships built with both the students and staff.

Mrs. Perez's journey into education began in 2015 as a 6th-grade science and Robotics teacher in Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools. In 2019, Mrs. Perez moved to Cabarrus County schools in the same role at C.C. Griffin STEM Middle School until she moved into the role of Assistant Principal in 2021. In 2023, Mrs. Perez became the Assistant Principal at the Cabarrus-Kannapolis Early College High School. Mrs. Perez strives to work with all to ensure that all students have access to rigorous and balanced instruction to prepare them for college, career, and life. In her free time, Mrs. Perez loves to spend time with her husband, Cris, daughters, Phoebe and Magnolia, and her two dogs, Benny and Winnie!
